On 14th November, the students of ‘Icchedanar Pathshala’ were invited by the authorities of Science City, Kolkata to take part in activities to celebrate the occasion of Children’s Day. 35 students took part in the activities. The first activity was a Sit and Draw competition on the theme of “environment”. One of our students, Nandini Mahato, won the third prize in this competition. This was followed by a general knowledge quiz. Many of our students got prizes for answering the questions correctly.

The students were then taken to Space Theater to watch a 3D show on ‘The Evolution of Space’. They ended their day with ‘Aasman ke Parindey’- a play performed by our students of Icchedanar Pathshala.. This show met with a lot of applause from the audience.
