Civilian Welfare Foundation (Registered as Poddar Park Civilian Welfare Foundation) is a non-profit NGO based in Kolkata, West Bengal, working at the intersections of social justice, public health, and community empowerment towards an inclusive approach of equality and equity. We are a 80G and 12A registered organisation.Founded on the conviction that every individual regardless of ability, gender identity, caste, religion, or socioeconomic background deserves dignity, rights, and equal opportunity. CWF has steadily grown from a grassroots initiative into a multi-programme organisation with a presence spanning urban slums, rural tribal villages, and multiple districts across West Bengal.
We envision an equitable society not barricaded by the pillars of orthodox rules and gender discrimination - a society where people will be free from the shackles of patriarchy and violence.
